Holiday Compassion 2019

Making spirits bright and remembering those in need at the Holidays.

The holidays are right around the corner and we are gearing up to make an impact in our community and beyond this season. Regardless of your interests, gifts, talents or time, there is a place for YOU to make a difference for the lost and hurting this year!

Holiday Compassion Projects
Operation Christmas Child

Bayside Davis will participate in Operation Christmas Child again this year!

Operation Christmas Child is a project of Samaritan’s Purse, an international relief organization. Their mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. They ship these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Pick up a preprinted shoebox starting on November 10th or 17th, 2019 at our 10:00am Sunday Service (Ralph Waldo Emerson Junior High - 2121 Calaveras Ave, Davis, CA 95616) You can also use your own average size shoebox. If you want to wrap it, cover the box and lid separately.

Drop it off at our Sunday Service on November 24th, 2019. (or any of the drop-off sites listed on their website) The national collection week is November 18th - 25th.
